It looks like Supergiant Games’ Hades is going to be released on PS4 soon as the game has been listed on South Korea’s ratings board. The listing was spotted by users on ResetEra. According to the listing the applicant is Take Two Interactive, so the company could be publishing the game for PS4 on behalf of Supergiant Games. If this listing is correct, and they usually are, we could expect to see Hades pop up on Sony’s consoles relatively soon. Previously, the South Korean board has leaked Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, and Fortnite for Switch.
In Hades, players take on the role of the Immortal Prince of the Underworld and hack through the roguelite to escape the underworld and the clutches of the titular god. Helping the Prince along the way are Olympus heavyweights Zeus, Athena, Poseidon, and some of the othe gods too. Hades took the gaming world by storm racking up a lot of awards and even beat The Last of Us Part 2 to win Best Game Award at the 2021 BAFTAs. Hades is currently available on PC and Switch with cross save enabled between the platforms. Back in September, Jim speculated on whether Supergiant Games’ god tier roguelite would appear on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. It seems that speculation is at least half right for now.
