Channel 37 has announced that survival shooter The Last Caretaker will be heading into early access on November 6th, 2025. The game finds you, a lone robot, trying to save humanity after the Earth has been flooded.
Created by just seven people, The Last Caretaker is part survival sim, part shooter. You will be able to craft tools and weapons from salvaged technology, and explore long-abandoned structures and the seafloor in search of anything that can help. The Lazarus Complex is your home base with the human seeds that need constant care and eventually, you will have to find a way to power and navigate the rockets that will take the human race out to the stars. You will also need to protect yourself and the seeds from robots that now roam the watery planet.
You can find the game on Steam or Epic Game Store, a console version of the game is also in development.
