Outworld Station has launched out of Early Access with its 1.0 update, bringing new features to Trickjump Games’ space-based base building and automation sim.
The goal, as with all automation games, is to build and grow your facility, synchronising internal supply and production chains to further continued expansion, and yet more optimisation. Outworld Station sets this in the void of space and the TAU system, allowing you to explore and find space debris that is then turned into resources, as well as linking to other stations and factories through wormholes to extend your reach even further.
The 1.0 update adds new missions, unlocks new station modules and technologies, and sees a new threat emerge on the horizon… the event horizon, I mean, as a giant and gorgeously rendered black hole dominates the new location of The Void and features in one of the two new storyline missions. If you’re closer to a planet, then the space elevator module lets you extract more high-value resources, while a new laboratory module offers up alternate recipes, and a teleporter enables to bounce around your stations more quickly.
