Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will launch right alongside Grand Theft Auto VI: The Game on 19th November.
Unlike the game, the album will release on physical media with limited edition releases for both on both vinyl and CD. The game, as we all know, will not have a true physical release, with all boxed copies featuring a digital code to redeem on a digital storefront. GTA 6‘s album will also, of course, be available from music streaming services.
GTA 6’s soundtrack features “a genre-defying roster” for its 34 original tracks, with six singles available to listen to today including:
- Yung Lean – That’s It (feat. Future & Metro Boomin)
- Travis Scott – RHYNO (prod. by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo)
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. &Etienne de Crécy – Sexy Magic
- Morgan Wallen – Last Thing You Need
- Rauw Alejandro – Macacoa 2000
- Keith Richards – Bright Lights, Big City
Those physical versions are available in multiple versions, some available exclusively through gtavi-thealbum.com – a liquid-filled vinyl, a splatter-edition vinyl, and a CD jewel case. Various vinyl colours will also be available from retailers including Blood Records, Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target, Urban Outfitters, and indie retailers.
Rockstar will talk more about the music of GTA6 sometime soon, discussing the game’s dynamic score, how in-game radio is evolving and more.
