We already knew that two special edition packages would be available for November’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, and today Activision have detailed the contents.
Much like Modern Warfare 2, there will be both ‘Hardened’ and ‘Prestige’ editions of the game available at launch. The Hardened edition includes the game itself, a limited edition medal, a game-themed Avatar outfit for the 360, and four bonus co-operative maps.
The Prestige edition, however, will include possibly the best extra ever: a remote control car with a 200 foot range, which includes as a camera that transmits audio and colour video – inspired by the killstreak bonus, as seen in the multiplayer teaser. The Prestige edition will also include everything from the Hardened edition.
Hardened will retail for £69.99, with the Prestige version coming in at £129.99.

When you say “best extra ever”, you mean “worst extra ever”, right?

I really want that car!!!! Is there any news if the standard edition will retail at the higher price again? I havent bothered pre-ordering this, Im hoping for supermarkets to do their deals again.

It’s currently RRPd for £54.99 meaning it will be available in expensive outlets for £44.99 and is available online for around £42.
Surely anyone who doesn’t see if the supermarkets are doing it for £25 again, is a bit weird though aren’t they?

It’s an 18 though isnt it? Sainsbury’s are normally quite hot on fake ID’s so I guess Ill have to find some random shopper to get it for me.

it depends on how they did with MW2 which i imigine was amazingly well as i am sure the price of £26 was avaiulable for a lot longer than launch day. You just had to get there early enough to ensure you get one.
If they do and you do queue, dont listen to the staff if they claim to have run out. They said the 360 version was all gone at my local store, and about 3 mins after half the queue disappeared they brought out another 100 copies

Trust me, ASDA, at least will do it at around the £25-£30. Loss Leaders!

yea its just cheap plastic which isnt justified by the price they might as well just sell the game for £130 and lump a voucher in it for a cheap remote controll car from pound shop

The batteries in that toy car will only last one day, so no, I’m not getting it.
bunimomike
So, a little bit longer than the game itself. ;-)

Maybe.

£129.99? What else costs that much? I know if I had 129.99 big ones I’d spend it on cod, not kinect!
