SEGA’s back catalogue is crammed full of videogame goodness, so when a ‘Dreamcast Collection’ was confirmed we at TSA all got rather flustered and started to imagine what games would be released. Would it be Shenmue? JSR? Well, no. The list is as follows:
- Sonic Adventure
- Crazy Taxi
- SEGA Bass Fishing
- Space Channel 5: Part 2
“The Dreamcast console is still remembered as a pioneering console for online gaming,” commented Gary Knight, VP of Marketing at SEGA of America and SEGA Europe. “We are delighted to be able to offer to our large community of dedicated fans a collection such as Dreamcast Collection for them to enjoy old favourites on this generation of consoles.”
One can’t help but feel a twinge of disappointment. The game will be released on PC and Xbox 360, via retail and digital distribution, on February 25 in Europe, and February 22 in North America.

Foxhound_Solid
:-(
Where is Powerstone and MSR????
Klart
Ever thought about the fact those aren’t by SEGA?
Foxhound_Solid
No Klart. To be fair I havent. Still doesnt change the fact that they were my fave DC Games and the ones I would like to see the most.
So to conclude, Nope I havent.
jonny_bolton
Where’s Jet Set Radio dammit!?!?
Kennykazey
I would buy the collection just for that game.
mugsybalone
Isn’t half of that collection already available through PSN?
Dan Lee
It is, and the other half has been confirmed as on the way.
mugsybalone
Ah, I see. I’d assumed it was going to have all four games as one download.
Klart
A massive let down. I was really looking forward to this; the MEGADRIVE collection was almost perfect (just missing Toejam & Earl).
So many great games by SEGA on the DC & then they only put a measly 4 on it of which only 2 (maybe 3) are classics.
Where’s Shenmue (1 & 2)? Where’s Jet Set Radio? Where’s Chu Chu Rocket? Where’s Crazy Taxi 2? Where’s move enabled House of The Dead 2? Where’s Sonic Adventure 2? Where’s Virtua Tennis 1&2? Where’s Virtua Fighter 3? Where’s Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future? Where’s Daytona USA? Where’s move enabled Samba de Amigo? Where’s move enabled Confidential Mission?

What a monumental disappointment. Sega Bass Fishing? Seriously? Balls!!
mugsybalone
While the compilation maybe light, Sega Bass Fishing was awesome, with it’s motion-sensitive controller (which, I guess, was pretty ahead of it’s time, predating the Wii by a few years). Sure, it was fishing, but it was fishing by Sega, and therefore cool.
