From what we’ve seen so far of Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, it really does look to be the franchise reboot Namco were hoping for. For those of you who don’t suffer from motion sickness, a ten minute video has been released which is full to bursting with gameplay footage.
Now if you’ll excuse me I have to go and annoy everyone at TSA Tower by calling them their Top Gun style nicknames…

That looks fantastic. Even better than HAWX, and I loved HAWX. My favourite bits from the trailer were probably the short cutscenes you get after destroying a group of enemies, showing them spiral into the ground, and also the way they worked the tutorial into a flight check. :)
