Activision have reportedly bought the developer of the Project Gotham Racing games, Bizarre Creations, for an undisclosed sum. Bizarre Creations will now be a multi-platform developer, so that opens up the possibility of their undoubted talent being deployed on the PS3.

While PGR was never our favourite offline racer, it was certainly one of the finest online experiences. However, as Microsoft owns that franchise, perhaps we’ll see a new racer from Bizarre Creations, one with a single-player game to match the online excellence of PGR?
