1EA has confirmed that it is working on a follow-up to the hardcore skating ‘sim’ Skate. The sequel, titled Skate 2 (naturally) will hit PS3 and Xbox 360, but we don’t yet know when. This is in addition to a Nintendo-specific subset franchise called Skate It, available on DS and Wii (which will use the Balance Board).
The news comes as Activision announce that there will be no console version of Tony Hawk this year – the only new Hawk game being a DS exclusive.
