With FW 2.50 arriving soon and the PSN reportedly down for maintenance later, more news has been arriving about some other goodies contained within the update
On TSA’s forums and it’s now official (well semi-official) as threespeech is reporting that
• Flash 9 content becomes supported on the Internet Browser.
This is potentially great news as this opens up all sorts of Flash goodness to the PS3’s internet experience, sites like hulu.com and bbc.co.uk/iplayer should no longer be out of reach meaning I can watch even more Family Guy & Top Gear than I do already.
You can keep your Strictly Come Dancing though.
Just in case it doesn’t work though you can still access the iPlayer by pointing your PS3 browser at www.ps3iplayer.com

I have actually watched this very show on my PS3 through http://www.ps3iplayer.com when my media center machine was out of action. It was totally watchable.

The SCEE PR is different to the SCEA one in that SCEE talk about HQ audio for Resistance 2 and not SOCOM. Strange no? I wonder if this means we won’t be seeing SOCOM in Europe for a good while.

28/11 according to play.com but it’s the bundle which makes Socom amazing value

OMG, this would of been a lot better before PlayTV was released, but hey, this still means we can waste more of our time playing those flash games on that there internet.
