We’ve been sat on this for a little while, but the embargo is now up – this is the first official LittleBigPlanet 30 second TV spot of three that we’ve got this week, we’ll show the rest assuming you guys want to see them. In our opinion, this first advert is a great way to get across the ‘create’ side of the game, introducing the family elements and that British sense of humour that we love so much (although he’s Australian).
So, let us know what you think, and whether you guys want the other two uploading over the next two mornings, and remember that not only is today Bonfire Night (official term) but it’s also the official release date for LittleBigPlanet in the UK, so go out and get your copy and then let us know what you think of the game too!

Wicked! My night will be spent feeding the dog valium so she can cope with the fireworks, and then repeatedly calling her over so I can laugh when she can’t stand up properly due to the drugs :-)

Must admit I was imressed this morning when I saw that the Metro (London freebie newspaper) had a full page LBP advert. Makes a nice change from seeing 360 game adverts everywhere.

You think any parents will buy their kid a game that allows the blow-em-up om a pink doggys face? :p

Oh that’s really funny! Great punchline.
Back to Bonfire Night, we don’t do it in Northern Ireland. The whole “burn a Catholic because he conspired against the English Monarchy” thing is a bit of a sensitive subject here. We do generally like a good fire though. And valium.

Valium and fire: Bringing down rates of depression since 1983.
Seriously though, we’ll set fire to almost anything, any night of the year. Buses, shops, cars, each other…
Not tonight though, we’re careful with our matches tonight in case a 500 year old tale offends someone.
