White Knight Chronicles sells out on day 1 sales alone, in the land of the rising sun.

Whilst I was opening presents, tucking into my turkey and watching Wallace & Gromit our Japanese friends were busy queueing to pick up their copy of Level 5′s White Knight Chronicles.
WKC is widely seen as the PS3′s first big ‘exclusive’ JRPG, and despite scoring a mediocre 29/40 in Famitsu magazine has reportedly sold out of all initial shipments racking up 100k in it’s first day of sales, there are emergency shipments on order but these may be to slow to meet demand.
