It appears the PEGI site is now listing a version of Call of Duty for the PlayStation Network, as is the ESRB. It’s not clear what these refer to, whether it’s a whole new version or some kind of remake of the first game, but we think this is the first we’ve heard of Call of Duty being PSN bound. The only information we get is that the title is a 16+ game with blood and violence, which sums up all the other CoD games.

  1. Hmmm interesting. I never played the original. Was it PC only?

    • It was. It will be worth buying if its an HD remix and only a few quids, the story was brilliant! If it gets some local and online multiplayer it’ll go down a treat.

  2. Wow, sounds great. Lets hope it’s a HD remix.

  3. Nazi zombies perhaps?

    • I want to believe…

  4. The other thing we know is that it is online enabled, as both have the PEGI Online rating as well…

  5. Probably just a crappy ‘psone classic’. I don’t see why’d they remake it all HDified.

    • How many PS1 games do you know of that are online?

    • ‘guess you’re talking Medal Of Honor here. COD was never released for ps1.

  6. More than likely this is regarding the Battlefield 1942 PSN “remake” that was “newsed” ages ago…
