“We’ll definitely be looking at a lot of titles that have things like Street Fighter and Resident Evil in the title,” said Kramer. “We’re thinking about putting together a long list of the titles we’re looking at, and then releasing it on Capcom Unity and having people vote on them. Ultimately we’re looking at bringing between 20 and 40 titles to the PSN over the next several months.”

I love a good Dinosaur game so I’m looking forward to Dino Crisis if that gets through.
Hopefully this will set an example for SCEE/A with the whole Classics situation. They’re sitting on a gold mine with PSone games. Imagine an app store, but with the entire back catalogue? They’d sell like hot cakes in a bake sale!

Dino Crisis was an awesome game! Some seriously jumpy moments in it though! Velociraptor through the window anyone?

I so wish they release Dino Crisis, I loved it on the PS1.
I’d also like to see all the old Resi games on the store.

Always good to to see more support. I would download all the Resident Evil series for sure.
Playing an old record here: can we have the original dead rising? It’s not PSone, nor PSP, but it’s certainly a classic.

Great, Capcom turning their back catalogue into shovelware
All I want is Strider (not on the list) and Ghouls n Ghosts (not on the list)
two of their best games not even mentioned, WTF?
Crap!!!

Strider is on the list…
It would be a perfect candidate, as the collectible status of the PSOne release has driven up prices. If I remember correctly, it even included the original Strider as a bonus so win-win.

Strider where?
All I can see is the sub-standard Strider 2

I’ve still got the PSOne versions of the game, and when I stick them in, they are disappointing and haven’t aged well at all.

Yeah. What Rare are doing with the 360 versions of Banjo is really nice, shame we don’t have anything like that on the PS3.

Nice way to boost the PSN store, it would be great if they updated the games to HD etc… or even added a small amount of trophies.
If they added trophies to PS1 games then probably a lot more people would buy them and developers would push out more to increase their sales but as stated yesterday, they would more likely be poor trophies just to increase sales.

Rival Schools: United by Fate?! Dino Crisis 2?! Plus the whole of RE games on the PS? Awesome! Although if they were remade it would have been better.

Take it up with Square-Enix or whatever they call themselves now.
Personally a remake of FFVII would be one of the best things for PS3 at this time. I would definately buy it assuming the save files don’t get corrupted of course.

Lets face it unless they are doing a bit of HD tinkering whats the point I might as well dig out my PS1 discs rather than paying to be disapointed , sony please come up with a legit way to put my PS1 games on my hard drive.

i agree with DarthSharkey in that they should implement trophies into every one of there ps1 titles
would it really be too much to ask?
it will give a little more playability and all the rest of it which we hear people talking about day in day out, i know its not the most important thing to back but it is something which i feel would boost sales and freshen things up a little
you see xbox implementing achievements on every title released, im sure sony could do the same
i still don’t think they will….. it’s a shame

That’s the crap part. Not adding trophies to the classics at the least.
