Developer Diaries are all the rage these days, not only does it give us the chance to get a glimpse of an upcoming game, but we sometimes get a sneak peek of – so far unseen footage. This is one of those occasions, in between some of the head honcho’s at Ubisoft providing context and talking about their creative processes and some previously seen CGI we do actually see some brand new gameplay footage.

I got bored of the first one fast. Never did finish it…

Loads of people seemed to get bored of the first one. Admittedly it was a bit repetitive but I loved it.
After I completed it I just walked around for hours wreaking havoc and spiking innocent peasants.
The counter attack controls were pretty cool as well.

I think all games are repetitive – Its just whether you enjoy it or not
CoD just walk round shooting people
KZ2 Ditto
Fallout 3 just walk round talking to people, and occasionally kill things
Warhawk just get killed repeatedly
the list goes on and on
Assassin’s Creed was actually quite varied when compared against these great games

Actually, you’re right when I think about it.
I guess you had the flags and the tower jumps stuff too. I was falling for the peer pressure and turning into a sheep!
Although there was 1 major repetitive issue… The fact everytime you started a mission you couldn’t skip the cutscene what you’d already seen 5 billion times. That was annoying!

Fallout 3 is a terrible game, very boring in my opinion!
But yeah your right. Games are mostly repetitive. There was just something about the first AC that got me really bored

I played a mates copy of the first one off and on over a weekend and just couldn’t get into it. I kind of enjoyed it while I was playing but after I stopped, I had no desire to go back to it.

Looks really good. If they’ve fixed the problem regarding repetition and also the freezing issue then I’m in for the title!
