96So we’ve all heard the news, Firmware 3.0 is coming, bringing with it a load of new features making life for us PS3 users all the more pleasurable. I’m sure for most of you the big question still left unanswered is when we’ll be able to watch that progress bar fill up knowing that the battery indicator will finally be put in its place. Thanks to this video [update: video removed], James Thorpe, Product Manager for PSN, answers it seconds in with the release of the Firmware predictably coinciding with the release of the Slim on September the 1st. Lucky us.
