18GAME know that your knackered old ‘fat’ PS3 is only good for the scrapheap and thus are kindly offering to take it off your hands in exchange for a shiny new ‘slim’ PS3. You’ll also need to give them some of your hard earned pennies, of course, but we reckon the deals are actually pretty good. Got a 40GB? The upgrade will cost you £119.99, then. Got an 80GB? It’ll be £109.99. Got an original 60GB? Ah, you’ll only need to pay £99.99 for your Slim (that’ll be the PS2 playback we reckon).
Anyone planning to do this, or are we all still perfectly happy with our launch machines?
