It seems that the folks over at SCEE are in a very listening mood recently, as not only has Vidzone taken on board users suggestions and made a whole series of tweaks and improvements, but they also have listened to the overwhelming number of people spamming forums, Twitter and practically the whole Internet in effort to pick up on the all to rare code giveaways.
Sony are releasing up to 16,000 beta keys on a first come first served basis so don’t waste any time and head on over to eu.playstation.com/psn/competitions straight away if you want in and are a resident of either Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
- This is a beta, not a demo. This version of the game will contain bugs and other problems; these will be fixed before the game’s release
- The beta will be open for six hours a day, Monday to Friday. These times are 5pm to 8pm and midnight to 3am, GMT
- Beta terms and conditions apply meaning if you get in – you agree to an NDA amongst other things.
Don’t hang about though as I suspect 16,000 beta codes will last precisely 3 more seconds before they all run out.

All beta’s as far as I know are like this.
It’s due to the fact that you being a minor means that you cannot sign legally binding contracts and be punished for breaking the NDA etc
At least it’s not long though

Most likely to make sure that the connection to AUS is better than previous PS3 games have been. You could say that most developers overlook this part of the PAL territory
A game that makes or breaks on connection is essential to being tested all around the world

I’ll have internet in time for the beta and all. And personally I think I’ll do a better job of being an actual beta-tester than those morons who posted pictures of themselves eating cake on Facebook so they could play the game early and not actually help with bug-reporting. Jerks ruined my FP experience!
