at 48 consoles per rack there must be approx 288 PS3s in that cluster…..awesome… :O
… needs a bigger screen though….

We have just bought two PS3s at my work for a (much smaller but) similar reason. With linux installed and some simple distribution tools, the number crunching potential vs the cost is phenominal. We are using it to crack passwords

So how much power do they use? If each of them uses around 200w They all together uses 700000w!!! Wonder how big the bill are
