You may remember that a week or so ago we brought you news of the United States Military’s intentions to create a PS3 cluster to aid them in their military endeavours. Well…

  7. We have just bought two PS3s at my work for a (much smaller but) similar reason. With linux installed and some simple distribution tools, the number crunching potential vs the cost is phenominal. We are using it to crack passwords
