Bad Company 2 Demo To Make History

10EA announced today that the demo of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 “is on pace” to become the publisher’s fastest ever downloaded demo. In the first five days since its release, over 2 million people have downloaded it and the game’s senior producer, Patrick Bach, was obviously pleased with the statistics:
We couldn’t be more thrilled to hear that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is already in the hands of almost 2½ million gamers, and it hasn’t even shipped yet…
The game will ship on March 5th for the UK and with recently revealed screens like that, it’s not hard to see why Bad Company 2 is so popular.
