With Team Bondi’s highly topical period piece L.A. Noire now no longer vaporware (it’s even confirmed as a multiplatform title), expect the usual ebb and flow of media showing off the game in various forms to emerge over the coming months. Like, for instance, these new screens that feature in the latest edition of GameInformer.
The mag also reveals that over three hundred actors make up the cast of the game, with Mad Men’s Aaron Staton playing main character Cole Phelps (obviously they saw him in a fedora and thought: “That’s our guy!”).
The script is also ten times longer than your average film. Depends on the film we say. I’m sure the recent script to Transformers 2 could have been written on the back of a Cornflake box*. (INT: Somewhere we don’t care about. ROBOT attacks. ROBOT dies. CUT-TO: Slow-motion of someone we don’t care about running. Etc. etc.)
*Yes, again with the Transformers hate. Sorry, it was the first film of questionable quality that came to mind. Funny that.
