The Playstation 3 version of UFC Undisputed 2010 is to get some exclusive fighters. Royce Gracie, Dan Severn and Jens Pulver will only be appearing on the Sony console which will also boasts five extra fights in “Ultimate Fights Mode.”
In this mode you will be able to relive and replay memorable UFC fights to unlock new video footage. The Xbox360 version of the game will have 15 Ultimate fights, the PS3 has 20, the extra fights are:
- Ultimate 2009 Category
UFN 18 – Carlos Condit vs. Martin Kampmann - Ultimate Knockouts Category
UFC 102 – Nate Marquardt vs. Demian Maia - Ultimate Classics Category
UFC 60 – Matt Hughes vs. Royce Gracie
UFC 66 – Keith Jardine vs. Forrest Griffin - Ultimate Submissions Category
UFC 68 – Martin Kampmann vs. Drew McFredries

Hughes v Gracie was the first fight that really got me into MMA. How glad I was GSP finally crushed Hughes a few years later.

I was unlucky enough to only find UFC just after The Ultimate Fighter 3, wish I had of been able to see Royce Gracie live rather than on video’s knowing the results! GSP vs Hardy next week, Hardy keeps it standing we could have a new champion at 170!

Judging by the early screens and info on EA MMA, UFC 2010 is going to have to improve quite abit in my eyes to stay at the top of the fighting games. Fedor FTW!

I thought the last game was dreadful. It was unbelievably repetitive, and looked like crap. Hopefully this will be better, or I’ll be handing my money over to EA for their shiny little MMA title. Which I’ll probably buy regardless.

The PS3 is getting some love which is good to see. There is also pre-order exclusive fighters from day one if you purchase it from GAME. I am guessing they will sell the fighters later down the line on PSN/XBL seperatly or as a bundle anyway.

Excellent stuff, loved the last title and have been very interested to read of the improvements in the new one :D Hopefully the god-awful lag in online matches will be sorted out too, so I can become completely antisocial and stop inviting friends over!
Haven’t seen much of the EA title but based on what you folks are saying in here I’m gonna have to check that out in a minute :)
