DICE, makers of Battlefield Bad Company 2 have revealed that they will never charge consumers for extra maps for the game.

This comes days after Activison charged users 1200 MS points for five Modern Warfare 2 maps, three of which were new and two which returned from Modern Warfare.

DICE senior producer Patrick Bach, who was speaking to Xbox World 360 Magazine said,

We don’t ever want to charge for our maps and insisted to EA that this attitude was crucial when it came to keeping our community happy and playing together. We’re owned by EA but we’re still very much DICE.

The DICE man also revealed that the company have a generous amount of DLC in the pipeline for the game, which will no doubt please fans.

Thanks,  CVG
