The Stimulus Package, a set of maps, hats and candy floss lipstick for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will see the light of day on the PlayStation 3 on May 4th, according to SCEA’s Jeff Rubenstein just now.  My excitement levels are quite literally overflowing.  Seriously, I think I need a little bit of a lay down.

Ahem.  So, the DLC contains five new multiplayer maps (namely: Crash, Overgrown, Bailout, Salvage and Storm) and will cost around £10 based on the existing price of the pack on the Xbox 360, which has been out for weeks.  Hardcore Call of Duty fans will lap this up, everyone else will feign mild indifference.  Which are you?

Update: apparently the 4th is for the US market; Europeans, badgers and visiting aliens will get it on the 5th.  Thanks, C_S15.
