Retailers around the country seem to have revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops will retail for £54.99 when released in the UK later this year.
The company caused plenty of controversy by upping the price of Modern Warfare 2 to £54.99, however it didn’t seem to effect sales of the title and therefore Activision are more than happy to charge the same again.
CVG did query the price but were told, “With regards to Black Ops, we haven’t confirmed any pricing details at this stage so have nothing to comment on.”
The fact remains though the retails such as Play.com. Amazon and GAME are all listing the title with a RRP of £54.99, although thankfully most of them are only charging £44.99 at the moment.
