Anyone with a pre-order in for Gran Turismo 5 from UK retailer Argos may well have got an email this morning with an updated release date window, one mirrored on their online site. That’ll be August, then. 27th August 2010.
Oh, and priced too: £47.99.
Quite probably just a place holder date (and price) but as petrolheads we’re really wanting this one to be true. If so, it looks like Andrew House wasn’t lying when he said “soon”. We’ve asked Sony for comment, but in the meantime here’s hoping this one sticks.
Update: Sony have said to us that they haven’t announced a release date yet. They said something else too – let’s just say the Argos date is wrong…
