As readers of the irregular ESRB Smut Watch updates will know our consoles are awash with ‘jiggling breasts‘ but Sony only want digital boobage. One of the worlds largest pornography companies, Vivid Video, has held talks with Sony regarding creating a aged locked streaming porn channel for the PS3. However, Vivid Video founder and co-chairman Steven Hirsh has revealed that the talks ended with no deal.
The porn industry is not impressed by 3D and prefers to concentrate on TVs that have built in internet access.
“At this point, there is very little 3D content around and we think there is a problem with consumers needing to use glasses each time they watch,” said Hirsch. “On the other hand, Smart TV is clearly on its way and it would make sense for the 3D people to get together with the Smart TV people to produce one device with full capabilities.”
Fans of smut will be encouraged to know Vivid are not giving up and intend to have talks with Microsoft, adding,
“If we could get further than we did with Sony [on Xbox 360], we’d be very interested.”
