GameTrailers have posted up our first exclusive glimpse at Dead Space 2′s gameplay. Check out Isaac as he suits up and then stalks the halls of Sprawl, cleaning out the Necromorphic infestation as he goes.

If you don’t soil yourself at the end of this trailer when that things comes out of nowhere, you have stronger guts than I, my friend. Either that or you had your head in your hands throughout the duration of this clip, begging for the cruel man to take it away.

  6. Is that the inclusion of a “bullet-time” feature? Seems a bit odd. The weapons also seem a lot more powerful than they were in the original.
Looks like it keeps the atmosphere though and the first one was the smartest survival horror for years (possibly ever) so I’ve got high hopes!

    • Not so much bullet-time, as just a continuation of the stasis ability from the first game.

    • I think it’s just a reboot of the cutter with some sort of stick to walls feature.

  7. Really looking forward to this game, the first one was a masterpiece. Looks like they haven’t changed the way it plays which is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

    • The most underated game the PS3 has. Absolute must buy unless you are prone to shitting your pants already, in which case that problem would be 10 fold.

    • Absolutely yes yes yes, just get it, it must only be a tenner brand new by now.
I’m on my second playthrough now, gonna try and go platinum on it. I still jumped out my seat of several occasions just on the first chapter.
