The outspoken and perpetually sunglasses wearing Tobonobu Itagaki is back. After his acrimonious split with Tecmo, the company he worked for when creating games such as Ninja Gaiden and Dead Or Alive, Itagaki began working with some of his old colleagues from Team Ninja on a new IP with Valhalla Game Studios.
Behold! The seed of his leather jacket-covered loins! Entitled Devil’s Third, the inaugural footage below depicts what we can only describe as on orgy of bullets, blood and über-coolness. Though managing to be both fresh and exciting, we still see Team Ninja’s indelible stamp all over this. Which is a good thing of course.
Devil’s Third is published by THQ and will be available on both the Xbox 360 (Itagaki says Yes!) and the PlayStation 3 (Itagaki says Boo!)
