In a neat new branding exercise, Sony are focusing on the current PSP (and not a future machine). The ads, which feature Kevin Butler and new kid called Marcus show off a cool, innovative (and funny) interplay between trendy youth and clip-on tie wearing executive, and the two work brilliantly together.
God of War: Ghost of Sparta was also teased, with the traditional PSP 3000 in full focus, and a trailer demonstrated 70 new titles before the end of the year showing there’s plenty of life left in the current PlayStation Portable.
There’s (currently at least) no mention of a new console.

Yeah, interesting that they didn’t show the PSP GO during that Kevin Butler part.

I think Marcus definitely gets the job cos he said “i consume a healthy amount of suckas on-line” ha. plus I like him in the films he’s been in.

Hope my next job interview is like that. They found a brilliant counterpart to Kevin Butler with this Marcus. Oh, and that’s one TSA E3 Bingo point for me ;)

I wasn’t expecting a PSP2 this year, that will be announced next year. It’s going to be download only, Sony just want consumers to get to the point where they’ll buy £20 games as downloads and to get the PSN to the level it needs to be.

Watched it, sony why cant you realise the psp is dead, its buried, its last treasure is peace walker, no one has faith. I bought a go on release worst waste of money, hell the battery didnt even last as long as a 3000 running a disc. SONY THE PSP IS DEAD. You need a new version to breath life into it.

I thought they’d announce Resistance 3 at least and maybe the Warhawk sequel. Suprised there was no gameplay of Agent either. But still, it was good.

To be honest I would’t like Sony to announce more sequels at E3.

Some gameplay of Agent and The Last Guardian would be fine though.
