E3 is officially a three day event and we are only really one day in. However, with Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Activision all holding their conferences on the day before E3 starts it is effectively four days of gaming news and late nights.
Which means that right now, before America gets up on their Wednesday morning we are halfway through E3. Wednesday’s main press conference event is likely to be Konami’s where we can expect to hear more about the just-revealed Kojima Productions title Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater for Nintedo’s 3DS handheld.
For further clues as to how much we might not have yet heard check out YouTube’s E3 page where there schedule for video releases over the next two days reads like this (check out all the TBAs and the show ending with an unannounced PS3 demo):

Janus (no relation to Samantha) was the Roman god of gates, doorways, beginnings and endings. He is most often depicted with two faces, one looking into the future and one looking into the past. That’s what we are going to do now. We want to hear what your single favourite reveal, announcement, demo, trailer, etc., has been from E3 so far. Additionally what is the one thing you are hoping to hear, see or read during the remaining two days that could really make the show for you?
Personally, as much as I enjoyed Kevin Butler’s, slightly over-long, appearance at Sony’s conference, Gabe Newell’s anxious, almost terrified, what-are-they-going-to-throw-at-me look as he stood on Sony’s stage eating humble pie and Microsoft’s reveal of what I think is a great looking new 360, my highlight, the game I most want to get my hands on turned up at Nintendo’s conference.
A Wii game and not only that but a Disney Wii game is the title I most want to play so far. Disney Epic Mickey just looked fun, full of familiar characters and locations and the change in art style for the Steamboat Willie zone… just Wow! To be honest, Kirby Epic Yarn’s charm and art style runs it a close second. What do you think of that Kevin Butler, VP of Third Place and Below?
What I am looking forward to from the coming two days is a much harder question. I have been thinking about it all morning and there was one title missing from Sony’s conference that I really wanted to hear more about. That game was The Last Guardian. Why? I am not sure. I do not even know whether I hope or merely expect to hear more at Team Ico’s hotly anticipated title but that is the one game that I know about that I would like to see more of.
So over to you. What is your personal highlight so far and what would you most like to find out about during what is left of this year’s E3?

It has to be Gabe eating humble pie.
Very suprised at the lack of price and release date announcements for 3DS and Kinect. Very pleased that there was no PSP2, My Go isn’t even 12 months old yet so a PSP2 would have really p!ssed me off.

Gabe walking on stage was a total WTF, definitely most surprising thing to happen.

Highlight was the audience’s reaction to Gabe appearing. That and Kevin Butler.
I also want to know more about The Last Guardian. It’s unlike any other title there and is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual humdrum of gaming. Please show us something!

Nintendo’s conference was good just from the point of view of it wasnt stuff I’d heard about before, similar to the Portal 2 and Sourcery announcements. Most other stuff I’ve come across that I would be interested in has already been leaked.
Looking forward to see what Konami have up there sleaves.

I hear there’s still some wiggle room for Sony, so let’s hope we get a treat or two.

Ewww… Play are also listing the Move for £39.99 and the Subcontroller for £29.99 – aren’t the the $ prices? Hopefully they are just ‘holding’ prices until Sony announce EU pricing.

Whilst Gabe is easily the highlight moment, it must’ve taken a lot of guts from him to appear personally after all that he said. It’s good to see him accepting that he made a mistake rather than sticking -wrongly – to his guns. My respect for Gabe went up quite a lot yesterday.
