Polyphony’s attention to detail has never been in question, but, as far as we know, it’s the first time the developer has truly shouted about just how insane the car modeling is on their latest game.
As you’ll see from the shots, everything apart from the dust and scratches is present and correct, we all know how the game drives but for the first time we can see how it looks, close up, and it’s incredible.

Allot of people hoping that my friend, including me. I’m expecting perfection. I don’t want to hear anything about a patch for a “fix” or anything. If a patch has to come is to add something, not fix.

I highly agree everything looks way too clean. Game still looks amazing though, especially from outside of the cars.

They’ve included the discolouration inside the exhaust due to heat. That’s insane! I know it’s just a texture map, but still.
Mind you, thinking about it, I do spend most of my time with GT behind other cars, so I guess I should appreciate detailing on the back of them. Not that I’m normally close enough to see it. :)

Graphically I don’t think it can be beaten. We need to wait and see if the old, tired gameplay present in the last 4 has improved

No it hasn’t been improved, it’s been remade, the whole game has, from scratch.

If you don’t like sim racing you won’t like it, thats what it is. AI looks hugely improved though if thats what you mean.

This looks incredible and I have no doubt will look EVEN better later this year.
I did read something about not all of the cars having an in car view, when I say not all the number was around the 800 mark which isnt all the cars but is still a shit load. Hope its not true, either way its looking to be the best racer we will see on this gen of console.
