Critics raved about Bayonetta when it was released earlier this year. The arse kicking witch certainly left an impact, leaving many fans wanting more. Well hopefully their wishes will be granted if a Tweet by the game’s director - Yusuke Hashimoto – is anything to go by;
“Good morning. It looks like we’ll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it.”
Will it be a sequel? A spin off? Hopefully all will be revealed.

i’m guessing a bayonetta anime.
seriously, a character who look like she does and likes to get nearly naked to use her special powers, she’s perfect for anime.

Bayonetta was broken on my ps3. I got stuck at a glitchy ‘quick-time’ event a couple of hours in which prevented me from getting any further in the game. Colour me unimpressed.

Make it spin-off, so I don’t have to play the first Bayonetta.

you should play it man, the patch which allowed an install solved the primary problem and it’s well worth it on the ps3

It’s alright…when your doing a combo and stuff it feels magical..but to me, it’s not as ‘amazing’ as the reviews said.

I didn’t enjoy the 1st one at all, i played through it and finished it but it was a grind. Just plain weird, there were good things about it but i just couldn’t be arsed with the whole weirdness of it all.

You just can’t take something that’s not ordinary

That’s just not true, i like lots of extraordinary or unusual things (take my mrs for example :-)) but this was just too bonkers to be enjoyable.

Everyone has a Mrs. That’s not something unordinary is it

1. Unordinary isn’t a word. 2. I’m not saying having a mrs is “unordinary” i’m saying that my mrs is an “unordinary” person.

Well, now look back at your reply there – it totally proves my point.

Sorry mate, you’ll have to explain to me how my reply proves your point.

You see, you seem to be a really ordinary person judging from your “typing”. So it’s natural you just can’t take something that appears to be way over your head – it’s just the way it is. You shouldn’t mark it as bollocks right away though – even if it’s your nature it wouldn’t be really socially acceptable.

Well mate, if you’d read my original post properly, you’d see that i played the game to it’s completion, therefore not judging it straight away and giving it every possible chance. And well, if you’re going to judge a person’s personality by their “typing” then i reckon you’ve got a few little issues somewhere in there.

I didn’t say you should give it a chance – just not mark it as bollocks – you can’t even take a person who’s judging you by your posts (what else? you don’t have anything besides that and your name on here) and using made up words – and that’s quite usual.

What? I have no idea what that last post of yours is even meant to mean. It just doesn’t make sense.

I’m with you TC
I love DMC, GoW & Dante’s which are broadly similar in style
But all this game had was “why look at me, aren’t I cool, you can nearly see boobs, now mash buttons like a mutha”
Lacked soul, story, pacing & a range of other things which make a good game and descended into a clusterfuck for me.

You got it all wrong ;)

“lacked soul” i particularly disagree with, it’s a very kind game with lots of love brought to it, lots of references to other games, too. It has tons of stuff which might not be visible to the naked eye at first.

If they learn from the mistakes a 2nd Bayonetta would be more than welcome

I never actually played Bayonetta. Might pick it up if it’s cheap.
