New Racer “Cargasm” Announced

Like your arcade racers with a heavy dose of sexual innuendo? Then Cargasm, the new project from Bedford-based Candella Software and Sega Wonderworks, could be for you.

The game will herald “a return of the classic arcade racer”, says Candella, and includes a “host of supercars” to drive around “meticulously recreated photorealistic real-world locations such as San Francisco, London, Yosemite National Park, Egypt, Switzerland and Mount Kilmanjaro.” Apparently, “the central London levels in Cargasm are the most photorealistic in the history of videogames” (sorry, GT5).

During the game, players will be encouraged by “Cargasm Girls”, which can be collected for their own “Cargasm Harem”. I kid you not. As you win races, you gain “Ecstasy points” that can be used towards new cars, and your scores are uploaded to online leaderboards. Just in case you hadn’t noticed the slant with this game,  the press release makes a point to mention some of the trophies included with the game, including “Cargasm Rave, Thrust, Lesbos, Orgy, Gigolo, Lothario, Playboy” and “Cargasm Sultan”. Oh my.

The game is in development for PC, 360, PS3, PSP, Wii and iPhone with no mention of a release date.

      • True, why do all of the cars look like they’re chrome? And the buildings look like they’re from Google SketchUp.

  8. Speaking from someone who works 3 minutes walk away from Picadilly Circus (picture 1) I can tell you that is NOTHING like the real thing.
