Dead Space: Extraction was one of those games that was crying out for a switch over to the PlayStation Move – so we were pretty happy when that was confirmed. Some co-op Move gameplay footage has been released and it’s look pretty good, and precise! Of course, Extraction doesn’t have to be played with the Move, so those who aren’t interested in Sony’s new glowing orb shouldn’t panic.

Glad to see that you can still use stasis and change weapon etc freely (or at least it would seem from the video). Very much looking forward to this – I think when it comes out I may insist on playing through Extraction co-op before touching the main game =P

It’s one of the better on rails shooters. It’s a prequel to the first game and you play multiple characters. There are quite a few twists too.

It’s not exactly free, it comes as part of the special eidtion (which costs more) or you’ll be able to buy it off the PSN.

It is free. The “special edition” is the default edition of the game on PS3, no additional cost(Confirmed ages ago on the PS Blog I believe).
Technically it isn’t so special when they’re all the same, is it?

I have this for the Wii and its one of the better games on the system. Its also great for fleshing out the story of Dead Space, fitting in with the digital comics and Downfall movie. Wonder if it will include the Animated comics on the disc that the Wii version had?

It’s great, don’t worry. It’s mostly on rails, but the game has an extremely strong central story and narrative to it. Possibly better than the first Dead Space in this respect.

This is one of the main games im getting Move even though its playable with the DS3. Was the control pad that was released on the wii compatible with this as im just wondering if DS3 support has been added in or the controls have been changed from wii to ps3.
