Following on from Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi, the next two Dreamcast remakes aiming for PSN and Xbox Live Arcade are Sega Bass Fishing (stay with us) and Space Channel 5 Part 2, according to JeuxVideo24.
Both games will be remastered just like the previous two Dreamcast titles, with 720p and 16:9 displays. We’re hoping for confirmation from SEGA soon on the latter at least, the rhythm based dancing game was utterly brilliant.
Fishing? Not so much.

haha, i remember when my mate bought a dreamcast, he had bass fishing with it, along with that stupid crappy fishing rod controller. absolutly awful!

Im abit torn between these kind of releases.
You are paying for a game that you [possibly] have already got, but can no longer play it due to it not being back compatible or wrong comsole.
On the other hand, i do like HD remakes if the price is right. I mean the 3 PoP HD remakes for £30 is great!

I played a demo of Space Channel 5 Part 2 on a PS2 cover disc and then it never got released over here in the end. At last a chance. I tried to find the first one too but with no luck….must have not made many copies of Part 1 on PS2.

Oh god, Sega Bass Fishing. Used to love that, way back in the day, with its rod-shaped controller – something of a novelty, but it had motion control – so quite ahead of it’s time in 1999, I guess.
Doubt I’d pick it up again, the PSN release of Sonic Adventure was a reminder that remembering something fondly and it actually being good are two different things.

What about a HD remake of daytona usa 2001….house of the dead 2 for move….sega rally 2….and what about the odd saturn remake like the virtua cop series, nights, bug, virtua fighters megamix, vitua racing, panzer dragoon1&zwei and baku baku animal. sega have a fantastic back catalogue of games and at last they seem to be remastering them for console download……just please make them 16:9 widescreen…i didn’t buy sonic adventure because of the massive borders at each side of the screen. i bought a 42inch tv for 42inch of picture, not 25inch lol.
