Project Gotham Racing was Bizarre Creations’ main title until they moved to Activision and started on Blur and the new James Bond game, but that doesn’t mean Microsoft are ready to give up the game for good. According to today’s Develop story, Microsoft is “in talks with several European independent studios” to bring the series back onto the Xbox 360.
Develop are citing a ‘trusted source’ with the story, although at this point Microsoft don’t have a studio to hand the project to.
The games have grown from the amazing Dreamcast title Metropolis Street Racer into four consecutive Xbox exclusives, although the fourth Project Gotham was released alongside Forza II and was sadly lost in the marketing push for Turn 10’s racer. According to Develop, Turn 10 has been considered “the most likely candidate” to work on future PGR titles.
Of all Bizarre’s IPs, Sega holds the rights to The Club, EA has Boom Boom Rocket and Microsoft has Project Gotham. Bizarre retained the ability to work on Geometry Wars.

Pheraps we’ll see Geometry Wars on the PS3…
Off-topic, is it just me or has The Club’s demo disappeared from the PSStore?
Dunks
I was very obsessed with MSR on the Dreamcast. Amazing game.

Turn 10 might be doing it? I guess this means they won’t have time to get Forza 4 & 5 out before GT5 then.
