Gran Turismo 5 Release Date Nov. 30th – SonyStyle

We were leaning toward not reporting this considering it’s like a bad case of deja-vu, but then there were a deluge of tips sent in from the likes of icuyesido and “Mark“, suggesting you guys out there are still hungry for even more speculative Gran Turismo 5 release dates.

Okay then, here’s another one to the add to the list. November 30th, as reported by US online store SonyStyle. Or, as it clearly states on the site, “Available on or about 11/30/2010.”

This is like the PS3 price cut, the slim and the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD collection. What are we going to talk about when the release date is official (again)?

  2. This has been on the site for about 5 days. I wouldn’t read much into it, not saying its not true but it looks like a placeholder date.

    • Yep – as it states above. This is just another speculative date. At this point you can pick a date, any date. You might be right!

      • If the discs are being pressed it could well be out at this time, though that would relate to a 03/12 release date for the UK. But who knows, I am just staying calm till I have the disc installed on my PS3!

  3. I love the date, 26/12 (any year) it’s when Christmas starts dying down :).

  4. One day I’m just going to walk into Game and it will be there, more than likely because I lost interest in all the dates it could come out on.

    • The US print the day and date backwards for some reason.

        The way they say 9/11 too, it gets me every time.

      • Agreed. At least we had the decency to blow up on 7/7 over here so everyone would understand. Some people, eh? :-)

      • If it is the 3rd of december this year for release then the US should get the game on 10th of March next year, due to their dyslexic use of dates. :O

      • I mean the 12th of March…doh. :)

      • Maybe its going to take that long to release that Sony had to create some more months in this year

    • In the UK, we say ‘the 30th of November’, so the day is put first, before the month. In the US they say ‘November the 30th’, so they write it vice versa. What is annoying is how every watch uses the US convention.

      • …and they’re the only country in the world to do so. Yep, the ONLY country in the world. Every other country goes with dd/mm/yy.

  7. Hmv has it for 1st of December so this would sort of tie in with that , heres hoping anyway,assuming kaz decides not to re design the ford gt badge on the steering wheel or anything along those lines

    • Not that I’ve heard of.

    • There was one shown off at a Hong Kong show a DFGT and GT5, as well as various PS3 bundles and lovely girls. Nthing announced for Europe though.
