In case you missed it – or happen to live somewhere else other than Blighty – here is a routine performed by Dara Ó Briain on the BBC’s ‘Live At The Apollo’.
Apart from pointing out to the BBC that gaming is the biggest entertainment industry in the world it’s also very, very funny. Dara tweeted the following after the performance:

Yes a lot of it was from gameswipe, although the MGS stuff was new. Still very funny though!
I hope Charlie Brooker does another Gameswipe, the one he did focused far too much on game genres and not enough on current news and reviews.

What I love most about this is that it’s not on a specialist show about gaming or a games website, it’s a primetime comedy show on BBC1 and proves that gaming is mainstream enough to talk about in as much detail as you might about popular movies or TV shows.
