Partial to some Black Eyed Peas? Still think Nirvana was the best (perhaps only) good thing about the 90s? Frustrated that neither of these bands are on the US SingStar Store? Rejoice! Sony have issued a statement confirming an agreement with Universal Music, “the world’s leading music company,” to plug the void.
This licencing deal means there are no longer any legal restrictions in relation to publishing Universal content on the US SingStar Store. In fact, as soon as they can get all the content online, the two regional Stores will mirror one another going forward. To celebrate the deal, Sony are releasing batches of content with this week’s update bringing Lady Gaga, Rick James, Lil Wayne, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rihanna, U2, Timbland, Black Eyed Peas and Nirvana to our US PS3 gaming compatriots.
That dude above still freaks me the hell out, however.

Great News. The growing gap between the two stores was over 500 songs. I am glad to see this get addressed. Now they just need to market the game a little bit (in the US).
best 90′s music is already in there: 2 Unlimited – No Limits :)
If only the main psn stores did the same? Sigh!
