Dead Space 2 ‘Excavations’ Trailer

23You join me live from behind the sofa moments after the TSA news team have watched the Dead Space 2 ‘Excavations’ trailer. Dan has locked himself in the broom cupboard and refuses to come out, Lee is hiding behind the curtains making small whimpering noises, whilst Jim was so terrified he climbed into the fridge, shut the door and now has a Dairy Lea Triangle wedged somewhere unmentionable.
Clocking in at over four minutes, the trailer explains the events of the original Dead Space as well as showing some action from the sequel. The mysterious artefact from Aegis VII can be seen along with numerous grubbly necromorphs who would like to wear your lower intestines as a nice hat. Also on the menu are dismembered bodies, dead girlfriends, blood, gore, psychosis, and a creeping feeling that something with more limbs than absolutely necessary is standing behind you this very moment.

The dead space 2 demo has this in glorious HD at the beginning. Just finished playing it, looking nervously forward to this game a lot. (DS2) demo on US PSN Store btw.

Nice – great mix of Dead Space, Dead Space Downfall and Dead Space Extraction in that trailer (from what I can see) – Demo is a must play for me tonight me thinks.

Look like carrying on the same high level of tension and drama that the first episode so expertly delivered. Such a shame Resident Evil dropped the ball with #5 – Dead Space really showed how it should have been done.

Played the demo last night and saw this trailer on a 42″ tv. Loved the demo and cannot wait for the full release.
