Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that a demo for Mortal Kombat will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on March 8th in North America and on the 9th in Europe. The rest of the PlayStation Network will get their hands on the game the following week.
The demo features Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Johnny Cage, and Mileena as playable characters and includes single player and local multiplayer versus modes. The Pit and The Living Forest will serve as the backdrops for all the action. There’s even support for Stereoscopic 3D, which is exclusive to the PS3 version of the game.
Although a release date was not provided, Warner Bros. did confirm that a demo will be available on Xbox Live at a later time.

LOL! When I first read about this I sent the TSA team an email saying that I need PS+ now. At the time, I thought it was completely exclusive. I might impulse buy a subscription… but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for only a demo >_< Oh the things I do for fighting games.

Great news. I was hoping for a demo, it looks ace but looks aren’t everything, particularly in fighting games so I hope it’ll prove to be a brilliant reboot.
