Rockstar have launched what they’re calling the Rockstar Pass onto the Xbox 360 Marketplace.

For 800 points you can get yourself all the content of the pre-order bonuses – the cases and the suits.

The full list of suits includes the Broderick Detective, the Sharpshooter Detective and there are four new cases to play though, including The Naked City and A Slip Of The Tongue.

L.A. Noire got 7/10 in our review, here.

Update: Rockstar has just sent round a press release detailing all upcoming DLC and Rockstar Pass content. People who purchase the Rockstar Pass will get the four new cases and other DLC unlocked for free as they become available but they will also be sold individually (and at a higher total price). The Rockstar Pass will also increase in price to $12 (from $10) on June 14th.

Here are the bullet points for the timeline of events:

  • Chicago Lightning Detective Suit (Social Club only) – May 17;
  • L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass (limited-time discount price) – May 31;
  • Naked City” DLC case – May 31;
  • Slip of The Tongue” DLC case – May 31;
  • Detective Suit and Gun – May 31;
  • Detective Suit and Gun – May 31;
  • Badge Pursuit Challenge – May 31;
  • Piano Machine Gun (free community unlock) – May 31;
  • L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass (standard price) – June 14;
  • “Nicholson Electroplating Disaster” DLC case – June 21;
  • “Reefer Madness” DLC case – July 12.

Update 2: we originally stated that the content was already on the disk and was just offered via a download key.  Rockstar have been in touch to confirm that this isn’t the case, and we apologise for any confusion.

  1. I have bested you, pre-order bonuses!
    I got LA Noire for £30, not £40, and will now get ALL the pre-order content (and then some, it looks like) for, what’s 800 points, £7 or so? Except that I’ve still got a bunch of PSN money, much of which was “free” because of buying discounted PSN cards…

    So I’m just winning.

  2. The author of this article is an idiot. I just checked it on xbox live, the Rockstar Pass is 108kb. “A Slip Of The Tongue” Traffic Case is 243.32MB. “The Naked City” Vice Case is 421.04MB. Not on disk DLC by any means whatsoever.

    • He might be wrong, but at least he isn’t rude. Please dont insult people in your comments, it doesn’t help your comment in any way.

      • I can’t stand supposed journalism that is incorrect and requires even simple fact checking. I looked it up in a matter of 3 minutes. It should be common sense to look into something like that before just publishing an article with a foolish assumption and false information.

      • That is still no excuse

    • I bet it’s on the PS3 version disc what with all the extra space…(throws fanboy baiting handgrenade and runs away giggling)

    • Did you hear that oh-so-mysterious-and-faceless TSA News team? You are a idiot. Come and see my in my lair at the back off the TSA office. and bring some butter..

  3. It’ll probably work out better value than if they released it all separately, if they did I wouldn’t have bought the suits.

  4. What about the people who have one of the naked city case and just want the traffic case…?

    So much for a pre order bonus more like a pay a bit more and then have to pay some more to get all of it!

    Not happy

    • The two cases I see online now are listed at 320 microsoft points each, so you still can get it.

      • Ah ok, so what is 320 points when it comes over to the psn?

           0 likes
      • hum and thinking about it 320 for a case or 800 for it all. That means if i take off my pre order case, i can pay 960 for all 3 + my free one, so i am going to have to pay for the pass. Its not good, if they gave out the pass in a few months (maybe 3-4) it would be ok i guess.

  5. My copy of LA Noire naked city edition has a envelope with film negatives hinting the locations of the hidden badges. You won’t get that in the dlc.

    • Me too. It’s a nice touch having them.

  6. The patch that I downloaded on launch day for LA Noire was literally called ‘LA Noire DLC.’
    Perhaps they’re not all on disc after all?

    Anyway, I didn’t get any pre-order case bonuses in HMV (I got a blu-ray and Chicago Piano weapon instead) so I’m delighted with this news!

  7. Is it fair to assume this will be coming to the PSN on it’s return?

  9. The Amazon UK pre order bonus was the broderick suit or something along those lines which increased health and fist fighting capabilities
