WWE Brawl Revealed

A WWE press conference has revealed a new game in the franchise: WWE Brawl! It’s definitely not what we’re used to, though, and resembles something like Powerstone rather than Smackdown vs. Raw.

Check out the trailer below.

  1. wtf…

  2. Ok.I am slowly going to back away now. I have no comment on this. This is probably the only trailer that has left me unable to leave an opinion on it.

  3. Erm…. Mega drive anyone?

  4. So this is a WWE game with no WWE superstars? Why?

    • they are, you can see john cena, undertaker and that red head crazy foo’ (i dunno i don’t follow it that much anymore) it looks like it could be fun….in hmv for free?

    • I think they are superstars. I’m sure I recognise Cena and the Undertaker

    • I’m not so sure. There’s a guy called Chain Storm who’s a John Cena lookalike, War Cry..

      • Theres Cena, Taker, Sheamus, Triple H tht i can see looks quite good.

  5. Odd. Powerstone being a part of the sentence had me hyped. Such an epic fail…..

  6. this looks bad

  7. So they went “You know what? I’m not sure WWE All Stars was crazy enough. I mean it was still technically wrestling. We could go crazier right?”

  8. This gets a big fat MEH from me.
I can see loads of parents buying it for “wee johnny” & then wee johnny saying “Aw mum, ffs” lol

    • Lil’ Jimmy not Wee Johnny!

  9. Good to see them doing something different, got sick of the same old, incrementally improved game being released every year, quite a few years ago.

Whether it will be any good or not is a different matter though… Looks like it would be great fun in local 2-player mode

    • Well yeah, but All Stars was that. This looks like they’ve taken it way too far.

      • Incrementally improved? They’ve been getting worse since they changed the name to Smackdown vs Raw. WWE 12 is their attempt to make the series good again.

      • For me SvR 07 was the best game out of the lot.

  10. is it just my eyes, or do they need to tone down the motion blur a bit?
