‘The Dark Meadow’ Teaser Trailer Released

A teaser trailer for the Unreal powered iOS fright-fest, The Dark Meadow, has been released.

Set to be launched this month, the game is set in an abandoned hospital and is apparently similar to Pan’s Labyrinth, in as much as it isn’t a direct horror experience, but more of a fantastical fairy tale.

Check out the trailer here.

  1. Crikey, great trailer. There’s a few Unreal games coming out on iOS soon, this looks fab.

  2. Looks really very good and if not designated as an iOS game, I’d be looking forward to it on PS3, it’s that impressive.

  3. Yup, I want this on my PS3!

  4. Yay, i am the new lord of trailers. ALL SHALL KNEEEEEEELLLLL BEFORE STEVEN! Or face the wall for a very long time.:p

It looks good, i wonder if it will make it’s way onto the consoles and PC eventaully?

  5. That looks brilliant. Definitely getting. In fact I was sold even before I saw the video as Dan mentioned Pan’s Labyrinth.

  6. That looks nice.
I have a dilemma- can you help me?
It’s my birthday in September and I’ve been asked to decide- iPad or Asus Transformer?
It’s a tough call, especially as I’ve never owned an Android or iOS device before, so I can’t say I’ll just carry over this or that app.
What are people’s experiences with them? I know the iPad has the edge in games, but to be honest, I have a PS3, PS2, PC, PSP, DS and my Nokia N8 already, with my plans of the Vita in the future, so I’m probably well set for games.

    • I was only looking at the pros and cons of this yesterday. As it stands I think the android OS is far better than iOS in terms of operating systems but in terms of content the iPad wins hands down still, even if you take games out of the picture.
This is because at the moment tablets are really only entertainment devices and don’t have enough functionality to replace laptops etc. And the iPad has far more many apps to entertain you for longer. If your into music then there are a tonne of professional music studios on the iPad, same goes for art etc.
The best way really, is to look at both of the stores and look at what apps are available, because both devices are really driven by the 3rd party applications.

  7. if there’s a lite version i’ll give it a try.
graphically it looks amazing, though i expect that’s the ipad version, but that doesn’t really show how it plays.
