Hi Rez has confirmed that the Closed Beta for Tribes: Ascend will begin on November 4th.
Hi Rez boss, Todd Harris, confirmed the date in an interview with Cyberlink which you can watch here.
The Tribes: Ascend Beta will include four multiplayer maps, two game modes & three vehicles. The maps can support up to 32 players and there is a choice of 12 classes.
When released, Tribes: Ascend will be Free to Play with money being made through the sale of load outs, allowing players to buy various guns, explosives and character augments.
