Leaked: The Amazing Spiderman Trailer From NYCC

10A number of New York Comic-Con attendees were lucky enough to catch a first glimpse of The Amazing Spider-Man: The Game during an exclusive reveal. The minute-long trailer introduces us to our new-look webslinger, inspired by the upcoming motion picture featuring The Social Network tar Andrew Garfield.
Developed by Beenox, the Activision-owned studio behind Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and more recently, Edge of Time, the newest Spidey game makes a return to New York city though it won’t follow the events of the film directly.
Though the trailer is focused entirely on in-game footage there isn’t enough to get a sense of how the game will actually play, instead focusing on acrobatic navigation, an indication that The Amazing Spider-Man could be a sandbox adventure game.

i really hope they put a LOT of effort into this and make an incredible spiderman sandbox game, different unlockable costumes and changes like ‘enter electro’ on ps1, lots of places to roam around, upgrades, enemies, varity. come on!

Spiderman for PSone and Spiderman 2 on PS2 were great. Lets hope this succeeds.

It will be a reaper if you buy the game new or it will be a sign that says “gives £10 and we will give you the boss” if brought preowned. :p

Just give it the bloody swing mechanics from Spiderman 2, that was bloody brilliant.

Thank fuck, i’ve wanted it back to free roam. I have enjoyed the latest games but free roam has fitted spidey since two. And beenox love the alt suits and do alot of fan service within the games so hopefully this will turn out great.

That looks amazing and finally a free roam Spiderman game. It would be fun and hopefully not too repetitive!
