Gears of War 3 Versus Booster Map Pack Now Available

A competition, should you choose to accept it.

Microsoft has announced that a new map pack for Gears of War 3 is available to download from today, and it’s free. The pack contains 5 maps including 2 new ones,  Bullet Marsh and Clocktower. The other three are from the Horde Command Pack and these are Azura, Rustlung and Blood Drive.

As well as the maps, Epic Games have partnered with Paramount Pictures to promote the film ‘Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol’, the fourth Mission Impossible film.

”Players who watch the Mission: Impossible trailer on Xbox LIVE and then complete the “Gears of War 3” campaign on Insane difficulty by 25th December 2011 either in single or multiplayer mode, will unlock the exclusive Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol Weapon Skin Pack.  The “Impossible Mission” 5-pack includes a “Ghost Protocol” Lancer, Hammerburst, Retro Lancer, Gnasher Shotgun and Sawed-off Shotgun.”

As well as unlocking a weapon skin pack for watching the trailer, those who visit the ‘Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol’ Experience on LIVE and watch the trailer will also be entered into a prize draw. If you download the Mission Impossible Gamer Pic & Theme Pack, you’ll get another entry.

The grand prize for the sweepstake is a “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol custom Xbox 360 slim console with Kinect, 50” HDTV, 5.1 digital HD home theater system, and the Mission: Impossible complete DVD series.”

So, if you really like Mission Impossible and like Gears of War 3 this competition is right up your street.

Don’t see why not – You can on PS3 right?

Technically should just sit on your console until you pop the game in & activate it i would have thought. Although, not having an Xbox means that i could very well be wrong. :S

That’s what I was thinking. I often d/l free dlc for a game i’m likely to get, then just delete it if I don’t. Hoping it works for xbox
