Vita’s UK Launch Line-Up Priced

The PlayStation Vita might be retailing at a bit of a decent price, but the games aren’t going to be cheap.  At least in some cases.

Along with the memory card (which, as we’ve said a few times, is absolutely essential) you’re going to want to grab a few of those games at launch, and we’ve got the list of all the known rates below.

  • Army Corps of Hell (£29.99)
  • Asphalt Injection (£24.99)
  • BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend (£39.99)
  • Dungeon Hunter Alliance (£34.99)
  • Dynasty Warriors Next (TBC)
  • Everybody’s Golf (£34.99)
  • FIFA Football (£44.99)
  • Formula One 2011 (£39.99)
  • Little Deviants (£24.99)
  • Lumines (£34.99)
  • Michael Jackson: The Experience (£24.99)
  • Modnation Racers: Road Trip (£34.99)
  • Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus (TBC)
  • Rayman Origins (£34.99)
  • Reality Fighters (£24.99)
  • Ridge Racer (£19.99)
  • Shinobido 2: Revenge of Zen (£34.99)
  • Touch My Katamari (£29.99)
  • Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (TBC)
  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss (£44.99)
  • Virtua Tennis 4: World Tour Edition (TBC)
  • WipEout 2048 (£34.99)

Note that those are RRP prices, and some retailers will be selling them cheaper.  We pinged Sony this morning to see if they would spill on the PSN prices, but nothing as yet.

We also don’t know how expensive the likes of MotorStorm: RC, Gravity Rush and Frobisher Says will be either, but hopefully they’ll be priced sensibly.

Sources: various.

  1. can not wait had a go in game today loved it.

  2. Until Sony price the PSV competitively, they can shove their PSV up their arse.

  3. I want one but it’s all too expensive. The machine, the games, the memory cards … I can in no way justify it. :/

    • You need to have a play with the console to see its a great piece of kit – but I feel you with the turmoil of whether to get one ><'

  4. The PSV unit is actually good value for money in terms of tech..and what power it has.

On the other hand Memory cards are too high – a 4Gb should have been included as standard as people buying the vita and say uncharted will be a little peeved to find they need a memory card also..

Games on the whole are around 3DS prices with larger price range apart from Fifa which is ridiculous. I know Uncharted is same but that’s worth paying top wack for… but fifa.. meh

    • the link I posted shows an offer of a 4GB memory card and uncharted for £270 + pre-order pack or with wipeout and 2 others for £260

      guess where? :)

  5. little deviants, reality fighters, asphalt injection and ridge racer can be found for £17.99…

  6. I’m surprised at the high price of Rayman as the console one’s price dropped quickly.

  7. I’ll definately be waiting. I was really excited about getting one 6 months ago but I’m really not that bothered now after everything I have read etc.

  8. Does anyone know if the Augmented Reality cards come boxed with the Vita? i read they did but i dont think it’s been confirmed as of yet?

  9. These prices are RRP and not what you can get them for. The most I’m spending is £30 for uncharted.

  10. Personally i think its a bit of a rip off on the price, and the price for games is ridiculous. I am yet to play it, and I could be amazed by it, but from the hype we have seen with the PSP stuff, I wasn’t impressed with that at all.
