PS Vita Games Hit EU PSN Store Today, Full Details

Here we go – the PSN Store will open for business tonight and will be stocked with a massive pile of PS Vita games. As you’ll see below, there’s a decent array of titles at all kinds of prices, so hopefully everything you’re expecting is in there.

Ouch at FIFA and F1, but yay! for Ridge Racer’s bargain price.

For some reason it appears some publishers haven’t applied the 10% discount that other territories got, which is a real shame.  SCEE have discounted the first party games, though, even if Uncharted is still expensive at a penny under £40.

Let us know what you’re getting, though, eh?

  1. Great news. Now just have to finish work, get some sleep and go an queue at Game tonight while my PS3 downloads my new games!

    • sorry to say this but i don’t think that it will be a big hit

  2. i think thats a right rip-off tbh. only a couple are good prices. i knew sony wouldn’t give the downloadable games for cheaper :( paid £40 for my 16gb card that came this morning, won’t be paying extra to fill it up with over prices games. and charging £8 to play online with a used game is just pathetic imo. well done sony, carry on like this and sony won’t be around much longer… seriously who will even get any of these games? apart from motor storm

    • I too am completely shocked by this. The PSP Go failed because of the terrible PSN prices. You would have thought putting this right would be at the fore-front of their strategy this time around. Guess not…

      • These prices are under the advised retail prices, so that’s not bad. You cannot expect Sony to undercut the stores.

If the digital prices were half or 2/3 of the retail price, the physical stores would sell a lot less & wouldn’t be prepared to sell Sony’s games.

      • PSN Uncharted = £39.99
        Amazon Uncharted = £37.90

I thought vita would be the turning point towards only downloading games. I guess not.

      • I pre-ordered Unchartered from Amazon and got it for £28.37
I actually got it for nothing cos I had some amazon vouchers from xmas.
Still yet to dispatch it though… My Vita is on the way and I’m constantly updating the tracking website so I can rush to the post room when it’s finally delivered

      • I thought £23.99 was fine for a few new PSP games but some went over that which was stupid you could get them cheaper in store for £25.00.

Shame they didn’t bring the PSP essentials early on in its life.

    • They said 10% of RRP and this is 10%, why are people shocked?

      • oh, i thought they meant 10% less not more on downloads… my bad…

      • Well they are cheaper except Fifa,F1 2011 and Marvel VS Capcom.

      • More than 10% in many cases. The Euro prices are effectively the UK RRP prices with the currency symbol changed. E.g., Little Deviants’ RRP is £24.99 according to earlier reports so the PSN price is actually 20% off.

That you can buy the retail packs cheaper shows just how much retailers, especially online-only stores, undercut RRP.

    • yeah i know i’m not even gonna bother buying sorry for the negativity

  3. Love it!! Just need the thing delivered now to get it on!!

  4. btw £17 for ridge racer isn’t cheap lol, getting mine for £13.50

  5. Katamari songs? Fuck yeah

    • Also, I’m surprised people are so shocked by some of the high prices. PSN prices are nearly always higher than retail games; plus you can’t sell them on; they take up space on your memory card – plus you need to buy a bigger memory card if you’re downloading your games; and there is no competition for prices.

  6. They’re not a bit cheaper then?

    • 10% of RRP.

      • WE WISH, seriously you think sony is going to let us have them for £3-£4?

  7. So we’re the only territory without the 10% discount. Cheers as ever, SCEE.

    • imo they should be half price because of the expensive memory cards and they don’t need all that retail packaging which i bet costs a tenner

    • Actually, most of them are discounted at about 12.5%, and the same ones that aren’t discounted are the ones that arent discounted in the U.S.

It’s not really SCEE’s fault either, they discounted their stuff. Blame Square, EA, Codies and Konami.

    • We do have the 10% discount (BETTER than, in fact). RRP for Wipeout is £35, and Uncharted £45. Sony have cut £5 off that in both cases. This is because the UK retail sector breaks the RRP.

Amazon.de, for example, has stuck quite rigidly to the RRP.

  8. Hmm well my plan has been foiled. Planned to trade Catherine in at Gamestation as part of their “play for two weeks deal” only to be told that game isn’t in the deal and I’ll only get 22quid trade in for it (I bought it from them for 44 quid a week ago!)
They went on to tell me that the Vita bundle I had my eye on is 35quid more expensive in store than on the site :(

    • Gamestation have become rubbish at trade-ins recently imo. I have taken to selling my games at places like CEX and getting the cash rather then store credit. That way I am free to purchase my next game from the online outlet that ends up discounting it first. Gone are the days of been held ransom to inflated shop prices because I have £15 store credit with either Gamestation or Game.

Yes the sell price is less then trade-in but I reckon I will win in the long run. I hate it when online prices are different to in-store. They should both be the same and Gamestation have been known to change the price on a whim when demand becomes greater then expected.

    • yeah it must’ve been certain games, Soul Caliber, Darkness 2 etc etc.

      • That’s what the guy on the phone said yeah. Whats annoying though is that the week before a different guy behind the till said the offer applied to all new games. Grrrr.

    • y would you get rid of catherine it’s an awesome game;)

  9. Don’t suppose anyone knows what that Motorstorm RC DLC is?

  10. Does uncharted still stop you from party chatting or has this been patched?
